Belgian Events Take Over November
Uniting event professionals is not just the mission of the Event Confederation in Belgium – it is our passion! And we are putting that into practice in November. In addition to our standard academy offering of webinars, information sessions, field trips, guidelines, research results, sector calls and cluster meetings, in November the Belgian event sector can enjoy targeted networking and learning opportunities.
Event Sector Congress
This year’s congress for the Belgian event sector is all about bringing together all event professionals. Are you an events organiser or supplier? Do you work in the profit, non-profit or public sector? All event professionals are welcome at Asiat Park in Vilvoorde on 26 November for our Event Sector Congress. Discover the programme and buy your tickets.
BEA Awards
The Belgian Event Awards opens its doors at 6 p.m. on 26 November at Asiat Park. We organise the networking drink for our Event Sector Congress together with the welcome drink for the BEA Awards. This is the meeting place of the year! Register for both our congress and the awards and enjoy a 10% discount. Book your tickets.
Event Wallonia
On 25 November, the day before the Event Sector Congress and the BEA Award, the first edition of Event Wallonia will kick off in Wex, Marche-en-Famme. Event Wallonia is the unmissable trade fair for event professionals in Wallonia. Take advantage of this platform to showcase your expertise, launch new products, and strengthen your professional network. And don’t miss the keynote speech on the Belgian event sector by our Event Confederation Manager.
Festivak
On 5 and 6 November, you are expected at Festivak in the Nekkerhal in Mechelen, where this trade fair has been organised biennially in Belgium since 2006. More than 250 companies showcase their talents. Event Confederation is present with a group stand, a keynote speech, and a panel discussion.
Uniting the event sector is a team effort, with partnerships and cross-pollination at its heart. By connecting the right expertise, we can not only provide our sector with the right people, but also make it safer, more innovative, more international and more sustainable. Even though the results of our previous quarterly survey show that half of Belgians are experiencing sustainability fatigue, it is our job to keep sustainability at the top of the agenda, even in economically challenging times. The autumn edition of our Meet The Members newsletter therefore focused on our members‘ efforts to make the events sector more sustainable.
